The Japanese giant, Sony, continues to expand its current roster and recently announced the Xperia L1, a midrange smartphone that joins the powerful Xperia Xz Premium as the first phones introduce in 2017 by the brand.
While both devices may not be in the heated battle for the top spot as the top phone in the world, these new additions to the Japanese Corporation product line are still focused on delivering a solid performance that satisfies the needs of their customer base, while also bringing innovation and great features.
As for the specs of the Xperia L1, they are pretty much in line with what you may be expecting from a mid-range smartphone: 5.5’HD display, MediaTek Quad Core processor, 2GB RAM, 16GB memory up to 256GB expandable memory, 5-megapixel front-facing camera, 13-megapixel rear-facing camera.
The L1 will run on Android Nougat, an important aspect for those users that are more driven towards having the latest operating system over the best and powerful hardware.
Another of the high points of the L1, according to Sony, will be its price.
For the moment, there’s no pricing information, but the brand has stated that is going to be affordable.
For the moment, Sony hasn’t announced the L1’s launch date, but the device is expected to hit the shelves soon.
