Sharp launched the Aquos S3 on January 16!
Featuring a bezel-less design and a powerful set of features, the Sharp Aquos S3 is was launched at a press event in Taipei on January 16.
A device with these type of features has been developed for a long time for the Japanese phone maker, but after all this time, they are finally ready to release.
Specs-wise, the device is expected to come in two variants: One powered by a Snapdragon 630 chipset with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. The second will offer a Snapdragon 660 chipset, 6GB RAM and 128GB of storage.
Also, the Sharp Aquos S3 will sport a 5.99-inch full HD+ display with 2,160×1,080 pixels screen resolution. On the battery life, the smartphone carries a 3,110mAh battery that’s good enough to keep it going without too much trouble.
In the imaging department, this phone will come with a dual rear camera setup (12MP sensor and 13MP sensor), with LED flash. On the front, the Aquos S3 will use a 16MP camera.
As of now, there’s no any more information regarding an international release or the exact date that the smartphone will hit the shelves, but it sure looks like a new promising device that will on the market for 2018.
