Moto X4: A dual rear camera, tough as nails newcomer

The IFA 2017 in Munich, Germany has been delivering plenty of news about the upcoming products from the top brands in the world, and Motorola took the chance to launch the Moto X4 officially.

This sleek device possesses a 5.2 inch 1920 x 1080 IPS LCD with Corning Gorilla Glass, runs on stock Android 7.1.1 Nougat and carries a 3,000 mAh battery with TurboCharge capabilities.

On the inside, boast a Qualcomm Snapdragon 630, 2.2 GHz octa-core processor with Adreno 508 GPU, 3GB RAM and 32GB onboard storage expandable up to 2TB via microSD.

Don’t be fooled; the X4 is built to last. It’ll come with an IP68 rating for water and dust resistance, giving it a lot of flexibility for using it under almost circumstance or condition.

In the imaging department, it comes with a dual-camera setup on the back. The primary camera with a 12MP sensor an f/2.0 aperture, and an 8MP secondary camera with a f/2.2 and fitted with a wide-angle lens.

This dual-camera array will give users a lot of tools for making a lot of creative photography, like using the bokeh effect, the ultra-wide angle, or the selective focus on any of their shots. On the front of the phone, there’s a f/2.0, 16MP and an LED flash.

In the video recording functionalities, the cameras can shoot 4K videos at 30 FPS.

With a September release date for Europe, this newcomer from the Lenovo-owned company comes with a high mid-range set of specs that could make it stand up in the market due to its price range.
