Apple will be releasing the iPhone SE 2 in the first half of 2018
Several reports claim that Apple will be unleashing their newest device, the iPhone SE 2, and depending on the source, It looks like is going to be sooner than initially expected.
Earlier rumors were projecting the official presentation of the phone in June for WWDC 2018, but a recent report states that the launch could be taking place as early as May.
While there is not a lot of confirmed information about the product’s specifications and details, it is almost certain that it will be manufactured in India, just like its predecessor. This strategy could make this upcoming member of the iPhone lineup the most affordable Apple device to be launched in 2018.
It is also worth noting that some sources claim that the powerful A10 Fusion chipset will be a featured in the SE2. This processing unit delivers top performance as it has been seen powering other higher level phones like the iPhone 7 and 7 Plus.
Some of the other features that are expected to be inside the SE 2 are Wireless charging and Touch ID. Additionally, as it had happened with all Apple phone since the induction of the 7, the SE 2 will not have a headphone jack.
Even with the little information available, Apple could have one of the best-selling devices in 2018 in the SE 2; we just have to wait and see if the hype is real by the time it is officially launched.
