The Xiaomi Redmi 4 is ready to take on Indian shelves
Recently presented at an event in New Delhi, the Redmi 4 was introduced and is willing to take on the competition. This device, which is a new variant of the Redmi 4X, was launched on May 23 and share most of the specification minus the processor.
For India, this smartphone, one that will be sold online through Amazon India and Mi.com and offline in the Mi Home Shop in Bengaluru, will come in three versions: 2GB RAM/16GB ROM, 3GB RAM/32GB ROM, and 4GB RAM/64GB ROM. It also comes with two different color schemes: Matte Black and Elegant Gold.
Processor-wise, the Redmi 4 will boast a powerful Qualcomm 435 SoC instead of the 430 SoC that’s inside the 4X version launched in China.
As for the full set of specs, this is what the Redmi 4 has to offer: 5 inch HD display with 2.5D curved glass protection, 1.4 GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 435 SoC with three options for the RAM setup.
It also boasts a 13 MP rear camera and 5 MP front-facing camera, fingerprint sensor, three storage options (16, 32, and 64GB), 4G VoLTE, WiFi, GPS, Micro USB, OTG, and Bluetooth 4.1. All powered by a 4,100 mAh battery.
