Chinese brand Honor continues to make waves in India’s smartphone market, and they have confirmed to several industry sources that they plan to release the 9N on a launch event on July 24.
While there is no confirmation yet, several experts expect this new device to be a rebranded version of the Honor 9i (2018) that was recently released in China.
The Huawei sub-brand is working hard in making its presence felt in several Asian markets, especially India where it’s not only coming with the 9N in July, they just unleashed the Honor Play on June.
If rumors get confirmed on July 24, their newest launch plans to be a solid one, considering the Honor 9I spec sheet.
The handset could be running runs Android 8.0 Oreo with EMUI 8.0 on top, featuring a 5.84-inch full-HD+ IPS display.
As for processing power, an octa-core HiSilicon Kirin 659 SoC, coupled with Mali T830-MP2 GPU and 4GB of RAM as the powerful brain.
In the imaging department, a dual camera setup on the back (13mx primary sensor and a 2mx secondary). On the front, a 16-mx selfie shooter with beauty mode.
The device will also include some expected features like 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth, GPS/ A-GPS, Micro-USB and a 3000mAh battery.
All in all, this phone looks very promising, but everything will be cleared when the official release takes place on July 24.
