If you fell in love with LG’s V20, you welcome with open arms the brand’s latest release: The Q8.
This smartphone is not only the fourth member of the Q series to hit the shelves in July, but it’s also a smaller version of the V20 by looking at the specs and everything it has to offer.
While most industry’s experts were expecting the next generation of the V Series - the V30 -, this new device took most of the best features of its larger sibling and packed into a smaller, more practical and appealing body waterproof body with IP67 certifications.
More of a good thing
When the V20 got out, received mostly positive reviews that set it as the most powerful LG device behind the G6, and the Q8 keeps the same formula but takes it a step further in a couple of important aspects.
First, the display is a 5.2-inch QHD display - instead of 5.7 – and, as previously mentioned, the Q8’s body is waterproof with IP67 certifications.
Besides these two aspects and a lower megapixel account in the back camera, the specs are the same: Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 820 with 4GB of RAM, 32GB of storage, and 13MP and 8MP sensors on back and front cameras respectively.
The phone also comes with Quad DAC audio system and running Android Nougat pot of the box.
