Several leaked reports state that the OnePlus 5 will get an end of June launch. This device will succeed the OnePlus 3T as the new flagship of the brand and could come with a set of features that could make a run against most top smartphones in the market.
Recognized among the mobiles phones with the best performance not currently made by major brands, the 5 leaks and rumors have come from all type of sources, and the latest piece of information was released from a trusted leaker and by the CEO of OnePlus, Pete Lau.
From what is known so far, the OnePlus 5 will sport a 5.5 Full HD display (rumors claim it will be an AMOLED 2K), a Snapdragon 835 processor, 6 GB of RAM, 128 GB as default storage, front-mounted fingerprint sensor, Dual back cameras, and 3600mAh battery.
Even though most of the upcoming updates from the “5” are unconfirmed reports or from leaks, is easy to say that judging from the device’s features alone, it’s a pretty solid offering in the flagship environment.
The dual camera, Snapdragon 835 and 128 GB storage stand up as the strongest features, but assuming that the AMOLED 2K screen reports are accurate, that could be its only weak point so far.
As with most unreleased or highly expected smartphones, there will be several more rumors yet to come, but users are now aware that by the end of June, they will get the confirmed specs of the device after the official launch event by OnePlus takes place.
