Huawei’s, world’s third biggest smartphone maker, is releasing their latest flagship “The Mate 9” and has set its sights on the US market as one of their focus, after it hits Europe and Asia.
Showcasing a solid set of features like A 5.9-inch full HD display, 4,000 mAh battery, fingerprint sensor, rear dual-camera system, USB Type-C, 4GB of RAM, and Huawei's own Kirin 960 processor, paints this device as a great option among its competitors in its price range.
The Mate 9 is expected to hit the market with two versions: The regular one (with the previously described specs) and the limited edition version known as Porsche Design Mate 9, which comes with 6GB of RAM, 256GB internal memory, and a 5.5 curved display with 2K resolution.
As of now, there’s no news regarding each version prices in dollars.
Already established as one of China’s leading smartphone makers, the brand already possesses a good share of the European and Asian market but now is aiming to achieve the same level of success in the North American giant, one that currently controls mainly by Apple and Samsung.
The Mate 9 with its set of features and enhanced overall Android performance looks to be a great first step for Huawei in the US, but it’s far from the first or the definitive one. A continuous effort with more great offerings like this one can easily carve them a spot near the top.
