The Midrange smartphone segment just got another competitor in the mix with the recent release of the Huawei Nova 4e in China and Malaysia.
The Nova 4e takes many top features that are trending in 2019’s flagship devices, while combining with other not so new, to result in an attractive alternative for those looking for an upgrade without having to spend large amounts of money.
Processing power and design are the names of the game
A feature that the device did not take from its 2019 counterparts is the elimination of the dreaded notch. The Nova 4 does go for the punch-hole camera in the display, but this new release opted for a water drop king of the groove.
Amount its many interesting traits; the 4e packs a solid punch in processing power with the Snapdragon 710 SoC at the center, accompanied with two ram variations: 4 and 6 GBs.
On the color variants, this device will offer three: Garland Blue, Pearl White, and Magic Night Black.
A severe camera setup with an affordable price
In the camera department, the device comes with a triple camera setup on the back (a 24MP primary sensor, f/1.8 aperture, an 8MP sensor with an ultra-wide-angle lens, and a lens with 2MP depth sensor) that looks prone to deliver amazing results.
On the front, a 32MP front shooter with a lens with 2.0 aperture that offers gorgeous selfies for the more discerning users.
Price-wise, the Nova 4e goes for approx. Rs 20,500 on the 4GB RAM and 128GB storage variant, and approx. Rs 24,000 for the 6GB RAM and 128GB local.
