Featuring two storage options (64GB and 128GB), and three color variants (Black, Blue, Green, and Purple), Honor debuted their newest device - The Honor 9i – on June 7 on China.
With a body that showcases a metal frame and a mirror-finish back, this device comes as an upgrade to their previous release of the same name that was presented in India in October of 2017.
So far, the Huawei brand has made no official announcement regarding if whether there is going to be an international o worldwide release for the phone.
Besides the aesthetics changes, the Honor 9i (2018) comes with a new set of specifications that combined with reasonable pricing, set this product as an excellent alternative for those who are looking for a smartphone that delivers high performance without the flagship price tag.

This dual-SIM phone runs Android 8 with EMUI 8.0 on top. It features a crisp 5.84-inch (1080x2280 pixels) full-HD+ IPS display.
For the processing power, inside you will find an octa-core HiSilicon Kirin 659 SoC, with a Mali T830-MP2 GPU and 4GB of RAM.
On the storage side, as previously mentioned, the Honor 9i (2018) offers 64GB and 128GB of internal storage that is expandable via microSD (up to 256GB).
The smartphone has a dual camera setup on the back, with a 13-megapixel sensor and another 2-megapixel sensor, along with LED flash. On the front, a 16-megapixel sensor that works with a beauty mode. As for the video, both setups are capable of shooting in full-HD (1080p).
Additionally, it also comes with 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth, GPS/ A-GPS, Micro-USB, rear-facing fingerprint sensor, and Face Unlock feature.
