Chinese smartphone manufacturer Gionee announced that one of their newest devices, The M7 Power, will be presented to the public at a September 28th event in Bangkok, Thailand.
This item is the second “M” series phone expected to debut this year. The other one, the M7, currently doesn’t have a launch date, but there are rumors that it could also seem in Bangkok.
Features wise, it will share almost identical specs to the first variant of the phone, leaving the M7 Power ready to compete in the high mid-range segment of the market, one that’s very competitive all around the world, but especially in the Asian continent.
Based on the leaks and rumors regarding the device, the M7’s should be a big 6-inch full HD display with an 18:9 aspect ratio. As for processing capacity goes, the smartphone is expected to be powered by a 2.3GHz MediaTek Helio P30 SoC, with 6GB of RAM and ARM Mali-G71 GPU.
Also, it will come with Android 7.1 Nougat, with an internal storage around 64GB.
A 16-megapixel rear camera with autofocus and flash, with 4K video, face detection, HDR photo, and touch focus are expected from the newcomer as well an 8-megapixel front camera.
On connectivity features, the M7 may include NFC, GPS, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth.
All in all, it looks like a promising smartphone, but all of the features, questions, and rumors about the M7 and M7 Power are going to find an answer on September 28 in Bangkok.
