Chinese phone maker Meizu is one of the brands that has continued to grow in recent years, and now they are releasing the Meizu 16 on December 5 as their first attempt to establish itself in India.
This new phone is the latest flagship from the company, and by looking at the specs’ sheet, it could get the attention of many Indian consumers.
The ‘16 features a 6-inch Samsung AMOLED custom screen with a small bezel (1.38 mm), and a resolution of 2160 x 1080 pixels.
On the internal side, at its core, you’ll find the powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 chipset with 6 GB of RAM. There will be two variants: 6 GB + 64 GB and 6 GB + 128 GB, but there are rumors that Meizu may offer some additional options after the official launch.
Camera-wise, the phone comes with a 20 MP front shooter with a dual setup on the back of 12MP/20 MP cameras, accompanied with a ring 6-LED flashlight. Among its other functionalities, it includes Intelligent bokeh mode, ArcSoft beautification algorithm, Adaptive skin beauty technology and Face AE.
That’s not all that this device has to offer. It also has security features like in-display fingerprint sensor, facial recognition unlocking 2.0, and a 2nd-generation optical fingerprint sensor.
As of now, there is no information on pricing and availability, but one could expect that the Meizu 16 will be far cheaper than other more renowned brands.
This possibility alone could make many people take a good hard look at the Meizu 16 and even giving it a chance when it’s time to upgrade their current devices or when looking for a new alternative.
