Nokia will release three new phones in 2017

With a trio of new midrange devices this year, Nokia is making its debut in the smartphone market. These phone’s announcement took place at the 2017 Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, Spain last month.

The Nokia 3, 5 and 6 are spearheading the global relaunching of the brand by the Finnish company HMD Global, that currently owns the rights to the famous European brand.

Among the core features, all three will come with a “vanilla” version of Android Nougat; this means that the phones will be regularly updated and will not include any form of UI customization or third-party apps.

Size and power: The Nokia 6

With a 5.5-inch display, the Nokia 6 is the largest of the three.

It features 3GB of RAM, 32GB of storage, Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 430 processor, and it also comes with an 8-megapixel front and 16-megapixel rear-facing camera.

There will be three presentations: Matte black, silver, blue, and copper. The price? $242 (the glossy black will go for $315).

As for its two other siblings: The smaller Nokia 5 and Nokia 3 are going to be sold at $199 and $147.

For the moment, there’s no launch date, but reports from different sources expect the trio of devices to be hitting the shelves sometime between the months of April and June.
