Samsung goes for the top with the Galaxy S8

Samsung released its newest and more powerful smartphone yet, the Galaxy S8, on March 29th. This phone will front the charge of the company that aims to reestablish the brand as one of the top mobile devices makers in the world after a rocky and scandal-ridden 2016.

For months, there were many rumors regarding the future, features and release date of the successor to the successful S7. After all had been said and done, the Korean phone maker delivered a powerful new flagship that could make people forget about their recent troubles.

A Whole new way to see Android devices

When building this new member of the Galaxy line, Samsung kept their focus on applying their proven formula of innovation and aesthetics, as one of the main traits that have allowed the company to compete with Apple’s renowned iPhone.

Among its more attractive elements are the curved back, the minimal bezel, ones that joined with its thinness and lightness make it hard not to use it at all times.

One of the most interesting aspects of the S8 is the elimination of the physical home button, something that makes it almost a full screen from top to bottom.

Power, speed and cutting edge technology

The most recent of the Galaxy line was created to be capable of handling the toughest tasks with ease, adapt to all new apps and OS features, while having the capacity to show some of the most amazing graphics in the mobile devices world.

Achieving this required the introduction of the “Mobile HDR Premium” technology that introduces the High Dynamic Range into the smartphone environment.

To make the device work properly, it needed some top of the line computing power and it that department, Samsung cut no corners.

Without further ado, these are the final specifications of the Galaxy S8:
